Saw this, looks interesting. A tweaked Komet amp. (Referring to the Komet 60 HD, towards the bottom of the page).

That IS interesting. Thanks for pointing to it. I have had a couple of (not too negative) comments, from the big-eared owner of the 60 I built, concerning the exact issues Komet seems to be addressing with this HD model. A bit more headroom at low-mid volumes, and a little "tightening up" of the low end. It'll be interesting to see what exactly they end up doing. I've got a few very minor things I'd like to try with mine...nothing too drastic. Up to this point, I've been addressing his comments using the age old "get yourself a decent cabinet with some real speakers" technique! Works great for a while.

But I'm still curious...
