Komet 60 Schematic...Accurate ?

Looking at the three amps based on the #002 amp the first thing I noticed was the tube count one had four pre-amp valves another had six pre-amp amp valves while Aaron's amp had seven pre-amp valves. I also noticed that only one amp used an inductor for the filters.

I had a look at the Ceriatone amp, it has five pre-amp tubes and appears to have an inductor as there are two small transformers on the chassis.

From what we know which of the #002 amps can we rule out, they can't all be correct.

They are all custom SSS amps, an interpretation of the builder.

So we don't have pictures or an accurate circuit diagram?

I thought I had something and this was it, pretty pitiful eh!

EDIT: I've noticed the closed thing we have is the Ceriatone SSS circuit.

-5881s
- 220k plate resistor on the cold (3rd) gainstage
- 100k bias splitters instead of 220k

- el34s with 5881s
- 220k bias splitters (connected to pin 5 of the output tubes) with 100ks
- 100k v2 anode resistor with 220k

Sorry...i don t understand...i would to know where do these indications come from and are safe because I think LINDA only has knopfler ... in the sense it is an interpretation or someone knows for sure that Linda is like this ....

MK mod is described here:

and it basically consists of:
"Replace the two .02uF PI Caps with .047uF OD's
Replace the two 220K PI>power tube grid/bias resistors to 100K
Change the V2 Plate resistor from 100K to 220K

There you go. Bias it a little hot."
Power tubes used are 5881.
