AES hit my email the other day and I was wondering if anyone had tried the "new" TAD 7025WA in a TW build.
I like the old tubes but they can be a bit cost prohibitive....
Probably going to try a couple out....

It's a custom version of the classic Sovtek. Better construction, three micas. Smoother response, low noise, nearly no microphonics - a boon when used as V1 in high gain amps. Well worth trying IMO.
