Just saw one of the new Express amps built by JM on eBay for, ready, get this, $15,000!!! Item # 320947571124 if you'd like to chuckle...

Just saw this as well, way too funny I love the "these suckers are incredible and many owners of original Ken built amps claim the new ones surpass the originals".

The thing that is annoying is calling it the "real deal" - It is not!! I am sure it sounds very good and i even considered buying one myself and the price I was quoted by JM was no where near 15K

No,That guys has a bunch of demo"s on the tube,Komet,Marshall ect.I seem to remember the basement and the ADDHD playing.

I dont think we are ever going to see a JM gutshot ever,ever.

I guess we'll see what it sells for on the free market. It only takes one sucker to come up with the asking price and a $10k profit will be had. If that happens, I'll be impressed with the current owner's ability to make a profit on his gear.

is this not the train wreck that was for sale on TGP a year ago?

He wanted $7500 a year ago. Still more then a new JM build. The first handful of JM builds had NOS Pacific iron. as used in '92 ingrid that was for sale on ebay for $35K recently out of California, and the Songwriter birthday amp by KF, her name escapes me at the moment.

Mr Scratch's Express has a green jewel pilot lamp.. and probably still isn't properly biased

No, not the same amp!! That was a diferent JM express.
Ken's songwriter was named Inger.

But we all know that the only amp worth $15k is the one you played and couldn't let it go, not one with all the right parts, but one with all the right stuff.

I have played a million Marshalls, but there was this 'one'.. Ya know. Mmm..
