Hi, all!
I'm thinking bout getting myself an airbrake. The question is: is it better than other attenuators? The prominent need of mine is volume reduktion to a level att which I can practice without waking up the neighbors.
Other competatives are Weber MASS and the TAD Silencer.
Has anybody any experiences?
Thanks,
Timo

Weber Mass and THD Hotplate are both fine with an Express clone in my experience.

Re: AIRBRAKE vs. other attenuators
I use a Weber MASS with my semi-Liverpool and it works great. I also have the Hotplate which is OK, but I prefer the MASS. Not tried an Airbrake, though.

Re: AIRBRAKE vs. other attenuators
I agree with loverocker, I've tried the hotplate but prefer the Weber MASS. I've never had a chance to try the airbrake.
I have the MASS with tone controls and line out, and my favorite way to use it is to put it on full attenuation with no speaker attached and run the line out to rack fx and to a stereo power amp, then out to a 2x12 stereo cab. The tone controls allow me to adjust the tone to compensate treble and bass at low volumes.
