Looks like you are going threw the first 25ohm resistor. It should be parallel to the signal not series. Check your layout again...

Thanks I looked over it but still I'm not sure where I goofed it looks exact to the layout from what I see.would you mind being a little more specific this is my first build and I'm pretty bummed that it hasn't turned out.

Looks to me like you may have the stereo jack wired with leads to the ring and sleeve not to the tip and sleeve ... move the wire from the ring terminal to the tip ...

plug in a guitar card and measure the resistance from tip to sleeve in both jacks ...

which wire did you move to where? the middle lug with ground wire was OK ...

In your picture with the jacks at the bottom, the wire on the left terminal needs to move to the right terminal. The wire on the middle terminal stays where it is.

I left the middle were it was and moved the left wire to the right terminal. It still barley makes a noticeable noise from the amp.

Make sure your large resistor gives contact to the adjustable connecters. I've had to lightly sand the resistor to get good contact for each resistance step.

Lightly sanded resistors so the connection was better and still nothing. So I tested it plugged in to the amp and when I touch the resister on the left on the furthest terminal to the plug on the right sound goes through the signal path then but the resistors seem to be bypassed then.

Your switch doesn't appear to be wired correctly to me.

check if the brackets are in touch with the box.I had to isolate them with tape in order for the signal to flow through the resistor.
