New Amp up and running

Post by jeff12 »

Well after a long weekend of work, my new Rock Island Express is up and running. Tried to make it like my Maui Express. I think it worked. :D
Sounds very close to my ears. Have to swap some tubes to tweak it yet.
And no real problems on startup. This is becoming fun now. Love these amps. Hey Miles I think lots of coffee was indeed a key part of the sound formula, also added some iced tea to this build.

In theory, theory is the same as practice. In practice it's different.

Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Cheers Craig.

Great job Jeff.
If anyone asks what "jonesin" is I'm gonna point at your amps.
Well done - someone's gonna be very happy.

Yes sir, I have purchased from him a few times, from what I hear the guy he gets it from is retiring. :(
I still have a few other connections for nice cherry.
