Since I have pretty much abandoned my pedal board this doesn't interest me.
Who am I kidding - I wants one.
Sounds great.

The univibe sounds great as does your playing. Got to be happy on both accounts.

Have you heard the Strymon Lex, there are a few good clips of it on You Tube. I have to keep telling myself I don't need it, but it is such a nice sounding pedal.

Mark,
Yeah the Lex is excellent and $300! Wow...
In theory, theory is the same as practice. In practice it's different.

I keep telling myself I don't need the Strymon El Capistan. Mice Elf ain't buyin' it. I guess it's a good think I'm broke!

Ahhh Trower, nice tone you got with that rig and nice playing. Robin is coming to Milwaukee soon.

I've been wanting to get one of these effects myself.

Thanks for checking it out.

I had it set to Vintage. The definition of the sweeps get a little more defined when set on Modern.

Playing is awesome. I love Trower and that's a great song. Nice job.

On the negative side, I would say that the tone doesn't quite have the throb that I like in a Univibe and that the tone is a little thin. I am only saying this because I have that problem with my units. I have 3 vibes, a Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe, a Sweet sound mojo vibe, and a Neovibe. They all suffer a little, at least to my ear. I am wondering if you have the same feeling? I don't hear that problem in Trower's or Hendrix's recordings.

I have used a few unvibes and clones. the best was an original univbe in excellent condition. Never got along with the Fulltone. I now have a Dry Bell Vibe Machine and Ill not be looking for another vibe. This is the one to beat. Not an exact clone, it has selectable buffers which really make it work well with other pedals. The throb is excellent. And it is the size of a mxr pedal. The best sounding Unvibe is the Effectrode Tube unit, but very big and expensive.

I splurged on a Timeline a couple years ago. Great pedal, but when I plug it in to the Express, it makes all these low level computer noises, like your cell phone is ringing next to your pickups.

Nice clip, too! Sounds authentic to me and fits your style.

Thanks for listening. There's a lot more left in the pedal. I had the intensity at about 2:30 on that clip.
