Man o man the wayback machine is the darndest thing.
I time traveled back to 198? and grabbed a site from my old friend Bob Specht from the New Jersey Band Zenon. And whatta ya know.. A whole bunch of Express tracks to check out if you never heard of this band. They played a lot around the state and were very good live. Seton Hall radio would broadcast them live on WSOU Pirate radio they were that good. Its classic NJ in the 80's enjoy. I will post a music page link for the band , and last the wayback link in case you never tried it. Should be all Wrecked recordings. I would scroll to the bottom and click on She's Tight to have a good first impression of the whole deal , including Irene , a beautiful female bass player that always killed it!

Here are some you tube vids I came across that represent an early live sound. It was consistent and really crushing in the larger venues. Bob had his old Marshall amps serviced by Ken from the beginning. Ken and Dave from Daves Sound in Whipany . So I know Bob was one of the first offered an Express and one of the first handful to one one. He used it all the time . His live tone was quite huge in the larger venues like on the Seton Hall campus. I little signature chorus way before Ty Tabor eh?
