Nice looking cab. How did you attach the "picture frame"? Biscuits?

Thanks, guys. RJ, this thing sounds killer since I reworked the ground and applied a couple of other bits of sage advice from board members.

Regarding the "picture frame", no biscuits or anything like that. I cut four strips of 3/4" MDF in 2 inch widths and placed them across the front of the cab such that I could abut the frame pieces flush with the inside and then glued and clamped for about 30 minutes each piece, one at a time. I did the top and bottom first and then zipped off super thin cuts on the miter saw for each outer piece until the fit was tight/right then sanded everything flush all around.

The entire process, from amp build to learning woodworking by building this cab has been a bit long but really fun ... frustrating as hell sometimes ... but fun.

Thanks Mikey! I'm still a bit on the fence as to whether or not to go back over the Tung Oil with Laquer or maybe a Tung Oil Finish (something like Formby's) to get a bit of shine. I figure you may be using the latter on yours? This 100% oil stayed "greasy" for about 3 weeks before curing. I'm in Central Florida with high humidity, but even in the house it took that long. I think the "Tung Oil Finish" stuff has poly and mineral spirits in it to accelerate curing time and provide a bit of a poly type of finish?

Learned a lot doing this ... things I'll definitely apply to the next one. Thanks much for the advice/assistance.
