my mains transformer has an unused 5v 3A tap for the rectifier heaters. Now, with how I've got things mounted it would make for a nicer /shorter cable runs if I could use that for the lamp rather than running a long run from the heaters to the lamp.
So is this OK to do so?

can I use 5v rectifier heater tap for fender jewel lamp?

Yes, perfectly OK to do.
I have done it quite a few times and the lamp will just glow slightly less bright, hardly noticeable.
