What is your BIAS or Grid voltage Sweet spot ?
I got 422v on plate without tube and 405V with tube on

I go by plate current using a bias meter (Bias Rite). Normally about 46-47mA at 390V on the plates, or around 72-73% of max dissipation. I guess to be more accurate you would subtract grid current, but I just go with the measured values on the meter. Not sure what that translates to w.r.t. grid voltage, but it's sweet to me!

for me it has always been 38-40 mA. That's what I like to hear......
