Duuuuude. Your OCD-fu is strong.

What's that great barrier reef? All the pot connections go there?

And what are those turrets? Gold plated?!?

PEC pots?

Man, what did you have to mortgage to buy parts? Can wait to see what iron you've got.
I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com

The ''barrier reef'' is a ''star ground'' where all ground on the board section and the 2 pre-amp cap are connect together to ground, under the input jack (not on pic for now)
I notice one mistake i done, the presence pot ground wire are not supposed to go on that star ground but, direct on the chasis behind the pot. ( as short as possible pot to ground)
Rest of the other amp ground are going to be ground at other strategic point.

Yes the turrets are 24k gold plated and I use Cardas Quad Eutectic solder contains a proprietary blend of silver, copper, tin & lead.
The solid core (important) wire that goes to the tube socket are the VH AUDIO UniCrystal OCC Copper Hookup Wire with AirLok Insulation, very high quality of pure copper.
This wire gonna be also use to interconnection between the pots and pots to board.
Original Mallory Cap, Mil spec Metal film resistor, silver mica cap, PEC potentiometer

And, xtian, here the Iron that goes with this amp!

Wow. Ti-dee! Interested to hear the results. No bright switch, a'la KF original preference? Why straight to the grid stoppers vs. trying without (previous experience/pref?)?

Dang fine looking work.

The 68K grid stopper resistor directly on the grid of V1b (pin 7) to help with stability.

And the 825omh to the other grid of V1a (pin 2) to help if the tube have some Microphonic issue.

Hahahahaha! You came from the world of highend audio! We can smell our own kind and/or read your post and come to the same conclusion ;)

Anyhow yeah man Cardas is the S#*t! In the best way possible! I like it much, much, much more then the number of Pb free solders that I have used, the best of those being the Oyaide, much nicer then the WBT. I am making a matchless build and I have a ton of different really nice wire, mostly neotech UPOCC, solid core PTFE insulated. I too have a bunch of PEC pots waiting for the build. I am going with russian PIO caps though, mostly the green K42's. I also have some Riken resistors for some key spots but also and number of PRP and Kiwame and Dales too. Ok well that is enough parts nerd out. Hopefully it turns out awesome but it may not, either way it will be an education.

Are you using a shielded wire for the heaters?

Yip us ex Hi-End Audio guys need counseling 😂. Just for kicks, I recently built a Tweedle Dee with KIMBER KCAG (99.9999% pure silver). I need help 🙄. Nice build man 👍.

Great looking build.

Could be a little sterile with those precision resistors!
