Sorry been off the radar for awhile but I just built my first or maybe second wreck. ( The first was the Xit project. Nice build but too ice-picky. I used a TDS matchless OT. Maybe I should have used something else.
Anyway, the amp iron and can cap was sourced from an Hammond Ao-44. It started as a little wing and was pretty good. Then it evolved into a HoSo 56 6BM8 which was a bit better. Now is a 'wreck. Small chassis was a bit difficult but sounds amazing. PT is getting warm after an hour or two. Really a great and different sounding amp.
