500pF treble cap doesn’t give the amp more treble, it gives more output and mids which sounds good. I have thought of experimenting with the 500pF coupling cap as I increase this value to 1000pF in a non top boost AC-30 and it sounded really good.

I will try it on my Rocket, but with a cap on clip leads so soldering won’t be required to demo the 1000pF value.
