Edcor are good transformers but they took 8 weeks to ship before the pandemic. They will probably take much longer now.

Is that UL output transformer?

I have an Edcor 35 watt 5k OT - EM0807 in my Liverpool build. It sounds fine to me
Good luck

I'm going to agree possibly with joeboo88 that looks like an ultra linear transformer. You can just ignore the white leads, OR connect them to screens and connect the blue/brown to the plate pins.

I'm pretty sure you can order any OT from Edcor as a UL. They are made to order as far as I know.

Looking at the website, I’m under the impression all of their OTs are UL.

Sorry I might not have been very clear, the 35 watt Edcor OT I have I bought off RJ and it’s not a UL OT.

I also have Edcor15 watt PT and matching OT that I have on a Supro build and it sounds awesome.
The only thing weird about Edcor is they label their trannies on the bottom, so take a picture before you mount it, which I learned the hard way... :D

Look back in some of the posts relating to Trainwrecks... A beloved member Bob - rj - "RJ Guitars" used to sell Edcor sets for all of the TWs. They are fantastic! Seem to be better than Hammonds (new) in most applications. I've used the Pacific and Edcor OTs in Express and Rocket builds. Very similar response. Of course this was rjs specific Edcor order... I don't exactly know what options he gave them to build. Make no mistake, they are very good transformers.

Also, I have used quite a few Edcors, never ran across a UL yet. Most of the wreck type I used had dual primary taps though. One tap was 6k6, but I can't recall the other.

Maybe read some of this thread: https://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7300

rj's web site is still up. There is some info there that might be useful, like part numbers: https://www.rjguitars.net/transformers/

I decided to bite the bullet and order a set last year.....I ordered a XPWR014 120/240 and a CXPP30-MS-6.6K for a rocket build

I recall it did not take 8 weeks to receive.....i think closer to 5 1/2 weeks.YMMV

Really happy with how they sound......price was awesome also.........I really like dealing with Edcor.......they seem happy to be a resource for us builders.
