Canadian Express build
Happy New Year everyone!
Thought I would start a page for my Express build. I bought a box of parts from RJ last year, and have just got around to drilling my chassis. I still have to drill a hole for the vvr pot, just deciding where I want it.
I also wanted to say thanks to everyone on here. The amount of knowledge and information provided is crazy. It took me months, but I’ve gone through every page of the Trainwreck discussions.
Also, a huge thanks to RJ. He is a fantastic person to deal with.
I’m also building a 2x12 cab to go along with the amp.
Cheers,
Nick

Thanks sluckey. I was unpacking the box when I got it and this seemed like the best way to make sure everything was there. Plus it looks good as a before shot.

Was working on the head shell over the past week. Lock miter joints. Made out of Arbutus, even has some slight figuring.
I have a ton of sanding to work on now. Hmm, not sure why when I post pictures they appear upside down but if you click on them then they are the right way up. I’ll have to figure that out.

I've been slowly picking away at this. I now have the majority of my 2x12 and head shell complete. I've got a few parts on the way to do the Ingrid mods, once they arrive I'll get to the electronics build. Cheers.

Re: Canadian Express build
Finally got started on the guts and have been making some decent progress. It's my first amp build but I think it's coming along pretty well.

Re: Canadian Express build
Thanks, it's been a slow process. Waiting on a couple more parts to finish.
The chassis is from RJ. http://www.rjguitars.net/product/origin ... k-chassis/
Looks like they are out of stock at the moment. Worth shooting him an email though if you're interested. He takes a while to reply but is great to deal with and his parts are top quality.
