Hi
I have a line on a good deal for an output transformer without an end bell. Would it be alright to use the transformer without an end bell in an amp build (for a trainwreck) or would I need to find end bells to make them useable?
Thanks
Zach

Here’s what I just built and it’s got no end bells.

Re: Transformer End Bells Necessary?
my last build , the bad Cat/Matchless amp used a Marshall laydown OT that I just stood up because of the ergonomics of the chassis i had.
I don't suppose you'd get CE certification as there are bare terminals you could possible touch. I insulated them with the glue gun
Amp sounds great though.
