I saw this! I think it's Lark Street Music! They are in Teaneck, NJ

Hi-Test Guitars is also close but I don't think they are in Teanack.

That seller's got real class: $25,500 for the amp, but if you want the hard case that was made specifically for the amp (and won't fit another amp), you pay an extra $300. What else: $10 parking fee when you pick the amp up? $50 admin fee for taking your payment?

It's from these guys: http://www.magicsoundusa.com
in the wilds of Borneo, and the vineyards of Bordeaux, Eskimo, Arapaho, move their bodies to and fro...

If we could settle on 500 of us with $50, count me in. But I do realize it could take a while before my "day" comes by! :D

Do you guys think it'll sell for that? Sounds a bit steep to me.

That amp probably has a special sonic inhancing glue that holds the caps to the chassis.. and the wood dowel is cut and sanded to a specific vibration resonance, along with the wire, for perfect harmonics.
Now you know i'm just kidding.. we know these are great amps,or we wouldn't be here building them. One reason we are here building them,is because we can't afford the 25,500.00 !!
I know being the 'real' deal makes a difference. But i don't see any reason a person can't build one that sounds as good, and yes even better than an original. Just my opinion. I think for collectors,as anything goes..their will always be someone wanting the 'real' thing, built by Ken.

I dare say sites such as this one does create greater interest in these amps and will drive the prices up to some extent, perhaps we should ask the current owner of Massisa for a cut of the action due to our efforts?
