Re: Toggle switch Washer
Are you taking about the washers on the outside or the star washers?
Watts Tube Audio or AKA turretsboards.com sells the chrome washer that fits the Carling switches. I just got 10 in the mail today.
I also ordered a driver for knurl nuts for these from Stewart McDonald guitar repair it is a two ended driver different size on either end. You can also get a driver from Cell-phone-accesaries.com 00-9358-0000.

Re: Toggle switch Washer
Steve-
Just use either PN on the Mouser site and you should have no problem. They're Keystone parts I think...
Actually, if you didn't get them on your switches, I would call Mouser and ask that they sent them- they are part of the purchase price, somebody in shipping just dropped the ball....

Re: Toggle switch Washer
That Keystone part # is not a washer, it is a "switch ring." The knurled nut type thing. The Carling part is called a "knurled nut" in the Mouser catalog. I do not think that either of these is the washer we are discussing.
And a BIG THANK YOU to RJ and turretboards for actually having this up-til-now-impossible-to-find part! I will be ordering very soon.

Wife: How many amps do you need?
Me: Just one more...

Re: Toggle switch Washer
Ron, those part numbers are for the knurled nuts. If I understand the OP, he was looking for the "beauty washers."
Re: Toggle switch Washer
Ron,
Speaking of knurled nuts. That driver you got from cell phone supply is there only one size available? I bough a dual ended tool from StewMac for use with guitar pup switches that use the knurled nuts but is too large for the Carling switches on the TW amps. I guess I will have to have two expensive tools on my bench used infrequently.

Re: Toggle switch Washer
Mark- Yes, they have one that fits, but frankly it doesn't work very well. Stewmac.com carries a much cheaper ESP aluminum tool that works WAY better. Sorry for misunderstanding on the beauty washers.....

I didn't see the ESP aluminum tool at StewMac on my last order from there. I will have to back out to the site and look again. The darn postage is so high I hate to order again.
