Wreck Cab with a difference

Post by declan »

A good friend did the wood burning, I know its not in keeping with wreck cab tradition but im very pleased with the final result.

Just finished with the danish oil today, it may get another coat or two, it is good to have a complete amp 15 months after the build started

That's thinkin' outside the box about things inside the box :!:
Maybe you'll star a new tradition.

That came out great; very cool! And the sullen, brooding sky behind it makes a nice backdrop.

Well done!

thanks guys,

im going to pass the feedback on to the artist .... he is actually a damn fine guitarst too.

Structo... oak yes, ... as for the liberty caps..... there are more things going on in that burning than i could write in a week so like the lyrics of a cryptic song, the detail is probably best left to the imagination ..... I think Doc is going in the right direction though.

needless to say i am very happy with the final result

Great looking amp! Exactly, it conjures up the hand made art on those
seventies gatefold album covers. The cryptically disguised lyrics another
nice touch from the past.

 I used to wait for those Liberty Cap mushrats to turn blueish along
the stem before jamming 20~30 in my mouth. I hear a mushroom poisoning will make you wish you were gut shot.

I really like the cab...now you just gotta eat a bunch of liberty caps and rock out a duane lick or 2 :) Pls record your adventure and post it here tho.
