New AC30/2 build with 6U8A
This is my new build I've been working on using a 6U8A to get a low gain top boost channel and a pentode channel. So far it's sounding really nice with some used 6p14's I just picked up from the Ukraine. The picture is from before I converted it to the 6U8A. I want to connect the pentode channel to the other side of the PI but I grounded it underneath the board, doh. I'm also now getting a hum on the pentode side after shortening one of the heater wires, it also gets louder with the volume.

beware that when the pentode volume is turned down.....the TB will not work, if that sch is what the amp is......you can add a 220k buildout resistor between the wiper of pent. vol and PI input......
you can use the 22ok that'sa tied to GND at the PI...just lift the grounded end, and wire it to the wiper.....

Don't overthink it. Just drink it.
