I understand from a good source that Hiwatt/JMI have called in the receivers. Clearing factory 06/10/2014. Really sorry to see the amps go,as they had a good product. Maybe someone will come in again and take the name. I thought it was odd the other week when i visited the factory at doncaster,and hardly nothing and nobody there. Sad day for hiwatt fans.

Had two Hiwatts in the early 70's and like a FOOL traded them away for guitars...

Next step, build a copy.
