Favorite AC15 Transformers

Post by fusionbear »

I have a client with a Ceriatone Creme Brulee I built for him years ago with the stock transformers and he wants me to upgrade them. I have used Mercury Magnetics before with great success. Any other recommendations?

My client pretty much gave me full reign on the choice.

Not sure the best tone/money option but using an MM should guarantee extra client psychological happiness. He did give you free reign so money not a limit? Peeps bitch about the MM hype but I've yet to hear/read any tone gripes. But MM uses plastic bobbins and what's so vintage accurate about that??

Here's an option, I never tried yet, but I'd love to:

Do you think that makes a difference?
