Re: AC10 SRT Clone - Tremolo thumping issue
You can, but a better way would be to increase the size of C18.
Re: AC10 SRT Clone - Tremolo thumping issue
Interesting. Why would it be be best to change C18 rather than the other two caps in the oscillator circuit?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: AC10 SRT Clone - Tremolo thumping issue
I don't know that it's any better. I just know it works. In fact, most of my tremolo oscillators have a fast/slow switch that simply parallels the first cap with another cap, usually the same value. Why would it be be best to change C18 rather than the other two caps in the oscillator circuit?

Thanks! I'm going to try that!

Huge breakthrough tonight... I tried Sluckey's trick of adding a pot, and found that 1M made everything just right. So, I added a 1M resistor between the 0.1uF cap and Depth pot to attenuate the signal... Also shielded the wires to the speed and depth pots. Now, the full range of depth and speed are useable and sound incredible! No need to do anything more! Thanks!
Now, I need to fix the reverb...
