Another great document is sluckey's AC15. He took the original schematic and redid the layout i n a more common head style. I built the same but with 4x output tubes and the correct OT for an AC30, that's pretty much the only difference:

That's kinda yucky, why would someone do that?
Plus I'd be concerned that sending all that high voltage AC into close proximity to the tone control might be liable to induce hum.
