Vox AC4TV8 power transformer

I am hoping to be able to convert a Vox AC4TV8 from European (240 volts) use to American (120 volts).

The power transformer, which came installed in all the American and Japanese versions of the different AC4TV's, is known as 076-AC4U internally with Vox and also as part no. 530000001460. Unfortunately, this part is discontinued and neither Vox nor the parts companies they recommend for their products can help me to obtain it or find a suitable replacement.

And that's why I'm here, hoping some of you will share your knowledge and point me in the right direction: is there a suitable replacement for this power transformer?

I've got a tech willing to work on it, but... I've got to source the part.
