Just revisiting here and missed this. Last I heard, he still hasn't unpacked the shop stuff or set up what he's got. As you might expect, he dabbles in cabinet making and furniture making. He once built a head cab for a friend's daughter and I built the amp. I didn't have a prototype to lend him. He did a great job, but it was functionally...well...non standard. Looked real nice. For a small head, he pulled stuff out of the scrap bin. If I ever get out that way, maybe we can meet and make introductions. Right now, I'm not totally comfortable. I think he and his wife need time to acclimate to the surroundings without outside influences.
