Eminence EM12

Post by deiseldave »

Love it. Started off using it with a D-Lite, then morphed to a Bluesmaster, now a hybrid withe built in D-Lator, etc. With all the 2nd guessing, and tone trying, etc. The speaker has always sounded great, and IMHO sounds just as good or better than my cab loaded with actual EVM-12L.
IMHO, you can't beat this speaker for the price.

Eminence & welded frames.

Post by Sone Aura »

When Eminence first started spot welding their frames, the heat was warping them, but they seem to have sorted that problem out, and I am back to using them, sometimes. I'll take not of this, and THANKS, MAN! I have some massive 150 watt cast frame EVs, Altecs, JBL D1X0, Weber, Celsetion, Jensen, Fane, Oxford, Quam, Rola, Warehouse, Goodman, Isophone, Jupiter, Truetone, FIsher, CTS, etc. Glad to hear a review of Eminence.

I really like the Delta 12A I picked up for $40. Very clean, balanced sounding. Not sterile, which I sort of expected out of a PA speaker. But then again, the JBL's Altec's EV's that everyone loves were also designed for PA amplification
It's true i've lost my marbles and i cant remember where i put them
