Update...the contractors are taking out my soundproof wall today, so while they're in there I won't be able to take pics of any of the gear till they're done. Email me if you need some pics.

I'm also going to work on putting prices on all of the gear listed as soon as they're done to make it easier to decide if you're interested in a particular piece of gear.

Gotta go move a few last cabs and boxes, they'll be here in 20 minutes.

What an ordeal. The LA County finally inspected and passed all of our corrections to the property, and I can finally uncover all of the gear I'm going to sell, take pics and put prices up.

Five weeks of demolition and construction. Yikes. And it's not quite over yet.

When I get back from the gym, I'll make sure the camera battery is charged, and start taking pics.

I hope none of you ever have to go through this kind of BS, it will drain you.

Jim

Hi Jim,

Glad to hear you are on the downhill side of the debacle. I was playing a J75LD from earlier this year and I just have to have another for a cube version of a 1936 I'm building.

Keep up the great work!

Russ

Geeze, nice looking cab!

While the inspections are over, I'm now back to building speakers and shipping out the stuff that already sold. So hopefully later today (if I'm lucky around more contractor estimates...argh!) I can dust off the blankets/plastic and take pics of the gear.

Of course, that got delayed when Vonage decided to cancel both of my phone #'s by mistake instead of one.

Six hours of tech support to Vonage on my cell...finally got a supervisor to go through the whole thing this morning from 7 am thru 10 am, and 9-12 noon yesterday.

When it rains, it pours.

Gear Sale update. I've made it through the first round of inspections and confirmations with the LA County. Yes, the demolition and inspections were done on May 15th, but it took them over a month to file it in the computer. They wouldn't let me have a building permit for a new patio enclosure until it was uploaded.

Argh!

I've got two more inspections to pass, then I can get plans drawn up (site and elevation plan) for the new enclosed patio. All of my gear is still covered in plastic and moving blankets, but as soon as the patio is built and I can move our personal stuff out of the way of the gear, I'll be posting prices and pics.

Please note that the Koncorde clone is sold, plus the 74 slant cab, and the four pre rola G12M's I had. That paid for the $5500 worth of demolition. As soon as I know what the final costs are for retrofitting our property I'll put more pieces up for sale, including NOS/ANOS glass.

Just a simple reminder, never deal with or trust Home Depot for any contracting work.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Jim

Been a long haul and it's not over yet. Still waiting on inspections from the LA County Building Permits Dept to proceed with finishing up the property, although the Zoning people have been done for 7 weeks. Geez, they move slow!

I'm going to get some stuff moved, speakers, amps and cabs listed, hopefully tomorrow. What a frigging ordeal...yikes!
