Anybody ever messed with this:

I know PE makes decent home theater flat packs. Was thinking about trying this out with a blackface bassman

1/2" plywood for a 2x12 is really lightweight (I'd worry about that), and $150 for unfinished DIY is no bargain. Look for a decent used 2x12 locally on craigslist or on reverb.com or ebay.com or guitarcenter.com.

I bought a trapezoid hi-fi cab from PE that is similar, but it was on closeout sale. Baffle was cut for one 12" which I discarded and made a new one for 2 x 10". Cutting was a little tricky because the sides were angled...not that tricky. It was nice enough and the parts fit well. I did a bad job on the tolex :( One day I'll scrape it off.

I mostly agree with Xtian. I don't think I'd buy it for that price.

Half inch isn't rigid enough to use in a cab this large without bracing. I'd pass, oradd bracing.
