While playing my ODS 183 clone today the speaker went out. Open voice coil.
My 183 build thread:

The main volume was at 12, Clean volume at 2 o'clock, OD off. Tone was a bit of hair but not overdriven. It was loud but not ear ringing or ear plugs required loud. Should this have blown the 200w WGS12L speaker? I'm curious what the collective experience here thinks.
I emailed WGS and they opened a trouble ticket, I'm waiting for a response.

Re: WGS12L Problem
WGS was quick to respond!
"Thank you for reaching out to us. It seems as though there's some other defect at play with this speaker. I can't see this speaker being overpowered by a 100w amp, much less a 100w amp at half power.
Please use the attached UPS label, and the RMA info below to send your speaker in for replacement."

That's cool. Any company can have quality control issues. It's how they respond to those issues that makes an impression on me. Hope it works out good for you.

WGS have been standup folks from the start. Good to hear that it continues.
