I use two dyes and many coats of Tung oil.I like the tung oil because if you should scratch your cab it is very easy to sand out and redue. :D

Most times I use Tung oil,wet sanding and many coats. The corners are helt with beech tendons. You could never snap these tendons. The beech is so hard. The blue one is exact TW specs for LxW.This one I used a couple dyes on and sanded off dark blue several times to bring up the figure.I really just enjoy making cabs.Combos,as well.Wood is a beautiful thing :D

I was wondering how the corners were held together. :-)

I'm trying my hand at this - almost ready to glue up. Wasn't sure which way to go with the finish though. I was thinking Tung Oil. I live in Central Florida and it's super humid this time of year (working in the garage). Do you think it will be an issue curing?

The blue there is really unique looking. One of a kind for sure. Really nice.
