I did a search and didn't see this posted anywhere else - a totally cool re-creation of the Trainwreck Pages that Rob Robinette has posted on his web site: https://robrobinette.com/The_Trainwreck_Pages.htm Very useful and well done - Thanks Rob!!

Yeah I agree with M Fowler, I'd link that on the files page he shows, seems a perfect fit, and yeah I've read those there too, rob's site in general is outstanding.

That is a good site for Ken's material. Wow, that was a lot of work!!

This said, I know there are articles in the Gerald Weber book that present a lot of Ken's columns, some of the same info contained in the Rob R site......but not everything.

Since we are talking about tubes here, 2tone has suggested that Ken preferred the typical Sovtek tube and I have said that I had read in VG mag that he liked the EL84M (6P14P). Well, I could not find the article I read where he talks of the 'M' version BUT I did find two references that support 2tone's counterpoint. And here they are, taken from two different issues and your basic Ken pop-up-gold kind of comment. And this type of thing is why I wonder if there are benefits to posting the entire articles. Of course there are at least 10 more from VG mag issues that I did not save. Arrg...

That definitely sounds like something that would be great to have. They do sell old issues if you want, but I have no clue which ones to get: https://store.vintageguitar.com/back-is ... t_dir=desc

It's disappointing to see that KF was such an advocate of the whole HT standby thing.
