Why does ampgarage refuse to delete my profile and block me from logging in?
Why?
And you won't even have the courtesy to give an answer.
So I made a mistake - let me leave.

Is it just me, or are trainwreck owners kind of solo crazy.

Heres my attempt at a clip with NO FANCY solo thing going on

First amp build under the belt! Trainwreck Express documented in discussion forum. VVR fitted. Took months of tube rolling for preamp! Clip was recorded with an iPhone. Fender 2x12 fitted with v30 & 12m 65. No pedals used. Clip was recorded at bedroom levels (VVR set at 10am). All controls at 12 noon. Tried not to "overplay" and attempting to demonstrate clean to mean with pic attack and no volume adjustment.

MM PT and OT
JJ multi cap
v1 NOS RCA 7025 short plate
v2 NOS Phillips ecc83 Heerlem I160
v3 NOS Mullard mc1 longplate
v4&5 NIB NOS PHILLIPS (Mullard) EL34 fx2

Guitar is a 33 year old Charvel TE CUSTOM (tooth paste logo) Tele.
Amp parts supplied by rj. What a pleasure to deal with him.

Thank you.
At full throttle it is $%#@ loud!!! As usual, this amp ALWAYS sounds best without VVR. Problem is, I dont have recording facilities 😟. So, if turned up the IPhone just compresses and sounds shite. I used an iPhone for that recording. Will try and post another recording of the “overdrive” sound.

Have you tried a resistive attenutor? Works well for me, but eveyone is different.
