Two rock custom reverb sig sounds and guts

Re: Two rock custom reverb sig sounds and guts
That would be the typical D-style treble path - .002(or .0022) into a 390pf. Also typical mid and bass caps (.01 and .1). The V1B coupling cap at .022 is a departure from the typical .05uF as Scott pointed out in an earlier post.

Timber boards, bit ugly!

Good job degooping it.
They sure seem to use a miss mash of parts.
Two different octal sockets, different grid stoppers, different screen resistors?

I like how they use electrician style KO seals to cover the 2 empty sockets, that saved them a few cents.

Sorry! I thought it could be a fairly inexpensive alternative, and I think the Artists sound quite a bit better. Sig 1s are fantastic though, no doubt! Have fun!paisley_tele wrote:I have the amp so y find something different. I like this one and want a copy of it. But getting back to the job at have got it degooped. Slowly working it out.

Re: Two rock custom reverb sig sounds and guts
yeah, i thought that was weird too... maybe it was on purpose? the sigs are supposed to put more time into parts selection and also have the cap polarity's right. whereas the non sig's are just to make the amp as fast as possible basically and not squeeze the extra 10 or 20% out of the circuit. they might do things differently now thoughStructo wrote:Good job degooping it.
