Something I thought of because somebody here did it, was to just slide in the chassis on rails, then the back cover of the head holds it in. :D
Wow! And that's even thinking INSIDE the box!

I'm thinking a bit of strategic padding under what the chasssis slides in on might also help isolate from vibration for aiding control of microphonics.

I have used this style chassis before. I had Amplified Nation build me a cabinet that let me slide the chassis into the cabinet with no bolts and secure the chassis front and back by the opening frame in front and secured in the back by the rear cabinet cover.
It was locked in good and tight and the customer has never had a problem with this method. Here is a picture in its Buckskin suede cabinet.

I've used a few of these - their great - high quality construction - and on the later batches the labels are spelled correctly!

Mounting - attach 2 small runners on each side - slide the amp in and out - perfect.

we dont need no stinkin mounting screws! (hope you get the ref.)
it really is a journey, and you just cant farm out the battle wounds

I did this originally. Worked great until the amp went over on it's face one night during load out, and the chassis busted right out through the front of the cab.

Wound up putting screws through the sides after that.
...and stopped putting the amp on the dolly.

Does anyone have a part number for those threaded inserts? I need some for a project. I tried searching but couldn't find the countless threads I have seen them in

OK, I am ready to order these, of course I have to get 50 of them! Haha...not expensive though.

Would you recommend the weld nut with tab base and center pilot, then drill small holes to chassis mount it...or is the weld nut with tab base, center pilot, and 'projections' the same thing with the holes already drilled? Is that what the 'projections' are?
