I would say it is take off of every other Overdrive Special amp. Pick the one you like the best. Probably a low plate design like 124 or maybe a 102 (high plate). But if you start with 124 you can tweak and experiment with values.

Hey Mark, I will be up in your world (Afton, MN) in a few months. Most likely by October.

Gary I want to hang out in your shop just to see what a professional amp builder's shop looks like.

I did hang out in Henry's (Redplate) garage one day and that was fun too.

Big deal for a North Dakota farmer like me :D

Sure no problem, yeah I was at Henry's back in the day when he was working out of his garage and painting the amps with red spray paint lol.

My house to Henrys place today is about 50 miles or so. Never get to that side of the valley any more lol.

Here are a few pictures of my current in house shop.

Thanks for the pics Gary, I've made a list and have begun trawling the internet for a decent scope - local prices are pretty steep for something like an old tektronik or similar - and maybe a HP 5385 freq counter. Thanks.
Diva or not? - Respect for Mr. D's work....)

My best bargains have come from Ebay. Picked up an Agilent 4400 100 to 1GHZ generator on there a while back for about $400.00. It was a steal at that price. Normally sell for $1200+
