It's here http://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 1&start=45

Note that #001 does not have the 470K and the coupling cap is .02uF

Can you see the traces underneath? I can't pick anything out, any clues?

Aaron did a layout which is great! I think it is on the same thread

If you zoom in you can catch the traces

I'd expect some difference, but nothing too dramatic. Definitely give it a try and report back. Do you have the inductor in your circuit?

I don't. I'm torn now, I'll probably try both ways, yours and the one from Aaron's layout.

The inductor does not do much at all, so no big deal. When you say both ways, what are you referring to?

Your suggestion in Dumble Files and SSS001 as per Aaron's layout.

The major change in the circuit I propose in the files section is, as I say there, moving the cap to ground from one of the treble switch's position contacts to its center pole. That is what brings the treble response into line.

I think before them it should be like the attached
If I did this with the SSS002, do you think I should place the 0.003 cap back to where it is on the Japanese schematic? I currently have it as per the May Contain Errors schematic.

I would do it like attached. Let me know how it works out for you

No matter what I do, once I move the 3nF cap to switch position 7 to ground and take if off the common cap point, the non bypass positions are harsh as h#ll. With the .01 separated there is a marginal change in tone but not much difference.
