Ford Mod: resistor in place of choke

Hi gang,

just a quick question:

would it be possible to leave the choke in the amp, and simply put the 200 - 300 Ohm resistor after the choke to get the sag?

By using a switch one could bypass the sag resistor and thus have either choke or choke and resistor.

Anyone tried this?
