Zombie thread attack!

I bought this chassis from dreric, untouched since the last post in this thread. I was able to get it running and sounding good. Eric said I could post my results here.

Fuse was burnt.
OT secondary common was disconnected from output jack.
OT primaries needed to be swapped to avoid feedback howl.
Changed bias tail resistor to 33K to allow bias of 6L6GCs.
Tone cap across Bass pot was 0.01, should be 0.001. Bass wiper was not connected to other leg of pot per schematic.

I put in some 6L6 pulls, roughly matched, and some USA 12AX7s from the bin. 407v plates, ~50mA each, 36 watts measured clean output.

Sounding very good, and nice and quiet at idle. Eric's lead dress is even more OCD than mine!

The OD channel is muddy, like too much bass--sounds better when you roll the Bass control way down. So I replaced the OD input cap (0.05) with a 0.01, and that helped a little. I'm going to swap the cathode bypass caps in the OD too, to try to trim up the bass. Any other suggestions? I know there's a ton of discussion about the D'Lite overdrive, but I wasn't able to find much in specific about improving the OD.

Again, Eric's build is beautiful, and deserves another photo:
