Hey, it's been ages since I've been here.
Here is a video that my son did playing my amp for the solo along with another member here playing acoustic guitar on it.

Yes the multi talents of you and Lucinda. Please give a big hug to Lucinda and Willow for me. You guys are amazing.
Jesse always sounds better playing my amps than I do lol.
The opening of the song is through a JMP50 clone with a Vintage 30 and think the Les Paul stuff is through a JTM45 clone also through a Vintage 30. The solo lap steels were #88 and Dumbleator also through a Vintage 30 believe it or not!

This is awesome! I always loved this song and the intro is played superbly. Reminds me a bit of the stunning clean sounds Mark Knopfler always gets with his Strats. Also a Dumble behind the intro part? Loved the chord progression, very tasteful and not so predictable.
And that lap steel! Love it.

The Dumble is used for the solo lap steel harmonies.

Another beautiful rendition! A heard a little background on how this is done here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sj6Ij1Oxe1s&t=3s Can you add any details on how you made this happen?

Very interesting software tool! I never thought we could perceive the latency of the speed of light traveling from New York to Hawaii!

we recorded our parts separately while filming ourselves so no latency. Files were sent and imported into our DAW software of choice to record then they were sent back to Jess along with the video to be mixed/compiled.martin manning wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 11:53 am Another beautiful rendition!
