Hi gents,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-G3rpMurkX4
I just found out that David Lindley playes steel guitar on one of my favourite tracks on Aussie rocker Jimmy Barnes 'Driving Wheels' song.
Can someone tell me what king of amp this would have been played on. I'm assuming it's a Dumble, can someone tell me which variation?
Thanks
Rob

Probably one of these two:

Both are first generation ODS's.
He also owned a Dumble modified Bassman and a SSS.

When I looked at the pic of the two Dumble amps, I had to laugh. "Well, that's one way to resist the temptation of using the second input..."

It's called road labeling..JazzGuitarGimp wrote:When I looked at the pic of the two Dumble amps, I had to laugh. "Well, that's one way to resist the temptation of using the second input..."
I am sure there were many times when Dave couldn't (or didn't want to) hit at sound check so you clearly label your amp like he did..The road crew could at least set the amp for your basic start up settings..
