Is that a Hammond output from a Traynor voicemaster> Looks just like it, seriously GREAT trannies, built my first dumble conversion on a voicemaster and sold it! It can DEF handle 6550`s!!
better use some split lock washers on the pre-amp tube sockets, or lock-tite! lots of little things in there to rattle around (sry if overstating obvious!!!)

It's a Hammond 1650R. Big but only rated for 100 watts. It's an ultra linear but I was planing to tie off the taps and just use the secondary. I got it for a ODS build but it's too big, mounts too close to the edge of the chassis on the CE chassis to fit into a cabinet.
I'm not extactly sure how to hook this on up, so feel free to look at the schematic and advise.
SSS #2 is reported to run twin iron with 6L6 and all 12AX7 so I was going to stick with that plan.

Eric[/quote]ERic, i`m running a fender 75 UL w/HRM circuit, and it KILLZZZ..i`d try both ways man!
I changed the transformer selection. I was going to go with a Hammond set but the OT didn't fit the chassis, too big. So I went with a New sensor (mag components) PT, Choke and a NOS Fender Bassman 100 OT. Reverb is a old mojo thing. The New Sensor PT is rated a bit higher than the Hammond of standard twin (?).
