Rarely do collectors collect for love anymore, so I agree.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Please don't lump everyone on this board with the people that ripped you off. The one that was a moderator is no longer one, after several members here were ripped off. The board even went to far as to make a sticky for people to report the deals gone bad with this individual.

I guess the generosity of this board is perhaps not brought up as much as the deals gone bad. I know I have sent several members parts for free, not even asking for shipping. I know other people on here that have done the same.

If you've ever read through a 20+ page thread here, where a first timer is having trouble with his build, you'd realize the generosity of many members here, giving their time to patiently to help someone realize their tonal dreams.

No one receives compensation for their help here, other than the satisfaction of helping a fellow human being.

I'm sorry you were ripped off by someone here. I think TAG responded appropriately.

Ha, very funny Taylor.

I like your idea about the jam spot in Wakefield.
Maybe we can get something setup for sometime in April.

Mr. Qtone will not be coming down for breakfast!

Honestly, he comes here bashing members, threatening lawsuits, and generally causing a distraction from what this site is about...building amplifiers (which he doesn't do).

So goodbye and good luck!

Please note that despite Qtone's multiple references to Texas & it's courts that lengthy public displays of "whining" is not considered a Texas value.

Yes - whining is not a respectable value either.

I'd agree - some things are better dealt with privately - and once you air your dirty laundry for everyone to see - everyone realize your sh*t smells too.

Theres good and bad eggs in every pot - choose your acquaintances wisely as the old buddist saying goes

I've made mistakes too - but if I dont want someone to know something its simple-

DO NOT TELL THEM!

otherwise its called sharing - not stealing. Possession is 9/10 of the law and that applies to knowledge too.

Sorry you shared.
it really is a journey, and you just cant farm out the battle wounds
