Who is who?
I am new to your group. Curious who the "regulars" are. Who is Shawn? Who is Talbany? Are you guys from, or own, Two Rock? Just trying to get a broader picture?

I never knew or thought it before, but after reading the post in my Emerald Pro thread, it sure seemed like Talbany was one of the original twoRock owners. Joe or Bill, is that you??
VERY GOOD VERY GOOD!

I am just a guitar and part time Dumbleholic, but a lot of people here seem to think I am an assaholic.

Bruce,
I can think of two quick ways to figure out the regulars.
1) Look under Dumble files & look for posts of information that have
hits of 4000 or more and who started the post.
2) Look at the Dumble amp building section and look thru about 5
pages of threads with hits of 4000 or more and who started the
post.
That will give you a sense of the "regulars" and some of the individuals who are very knowledgeable and perhaps have helped break some new ground in the clones.
As an example of someone who has broken new ground and contributed in a truly remarkable way: ic-racer and his ManZamp build.
His thread has 26,000 views:

With respect, 10thtx
(as an FYI, I am a regular viewer but have never built a Dumble and prefer Dumble inspired amps like the D'Mars and the TweedBluezMeister which are lower volume cathode biased dumblish inspired. I don't post very often on this foum)

I'd be interested to hear your analysis of Feedback City if you have time to go through the thread, Bruce?

Martin Fowler, Firestorm for all things Fender, Funkalicious, Husky (Suhr),10thTX, Jelle, Henry (Redplate), Bluesmanfenderblues,ic-racer,Ultrahookedonphonix.......

Re: Who is who?
I have the impression is that the question that is being asked is to which companies the different - and often anonymous - forum characters are connected.

You might be right.
Oh well my Hall Of Fame still stands

Perhaps Max may be (?) the most knowledgeable around the history of the Dumble amps, time periods, models, etc......

Re: Who is who?
BruceWho is Talbany
I founded and ran VVT Amps in 02.. Sold company and retired/ moved in 010
At present I build for a selected few (mostly Nashville players)..I also design consult and draft work for other companies (no affiliation with 2 Rock so far)..
Although I love tube amps I have been playing guitar professionally for 35 years and continue to do so!
BTW good to see you posting here as there are many here who are fine builders and wonderful contributors to the Garage..
Hope this helps!

Gary Johnson, owner / operator of Glaswerks Amplification. Located in
San Tan Valley Arizona. About 30 miles from Phoenix.
Also know as KF7XP, author (back in the day) of XPCOM. XPKAM and XPWIN which where software programs written for digital communications. Haven't updated these programs since about 1999 and I STILL get emails with questions from users.
