TweedlyD in progress, awaiting parts. Does anyone have a spare vintage tone cap?

Nice, clean, work Jelle. Is that an NTE mylar cap coming off the 3.3m resistor?

Yes, that is what was in the Dumble too, at least that is what I think it is.

Very cool! I'm looking forward to a report on the tone. If that amp really does work particularly well with an LP, I'll probably do one as well. I've a chassis and cab here that need some reworking. :D

Hi Jelle,

Beautiful build, as usual!

This thread has me wanting to build one next, though I am hoping someone will post clips or a good description of the tone soon.

I have three pulls from my Dad's collection - Tiny Chief .05uF 400v, Black Cat .05uF 400v, Aerovox Duranite type 488 .05uF 400v, and an NOS Sprague (black beauty?) .047uF 600v. Any of these work for you?

Best,

Greg
