Hey Funk,
Everything received safe and sound.
Once again, thank you very much for putting this all together for us!

Should be receiving my Avatar 112 in a couple of days but, being the impatient one that I am, I will be loading the G1265 into my MB 1X12 cab to see how it sounds.

One quick question: Do these speakers typically require a break in period? All of the Weber alnico type speakers that I have ever bought needed a couple of hours in operation before the little "rubs" were worked out.

Just curious.

Thanks again,
Dave O.

I think they do, I have a pair of 16 ohm's in my cab and I notice a little cone wierdness at certain frequencies around Bb. the classics sometimes do odd things, I just accept it as part of the deal!

ENJOY!!!!

Any chance you have any of these left over still available?

Thanks,

I have a pair of 16 ohm if you want them, but only as a pair.

I mounted them in a cab, but never soldered the tabs, they have about an hour on them. I like them but I personaly prefer my Emminence.

Thanks but I'm just building a single speaker cab and prefer an 8 ohm.

As long as we're on the subject. I put mine in a open back cabinet for now. What's the grail cabinet like for these?

Original stock would have been in a JCM800 4x12.
