Good idea, I wonder who could move it though? Don't see mods or admin in these parts much.ToneMerc wrote:Perhaps these photo threads should be moved to the files section.

Re: SSS #004
Does anyone have the layout or schematic for this one? I've searched the forum extensively but no luck

Did John Mayer recover the #004 to a different colour tolex???
It definitely looks black now (specially the pic on the side) or is it the light? Faceplate looks the same

Re: SSS #004

Probably just using a new head cab and saving the original blue one from road rash for resale purposes.
Re: SSS #004
Very cool. Looks a bit like the SSS #5 clone that I built a while back (bottom). I designed the chassis with #04 in mind.

Thank you. I did the CAD and artwork and then had a fabrication house do 10 of them. I sold the others off. I learned CAD just because I wanted to do the chassis. Selling the others paid for all of the chassis and parts for my build (plus a bit of pocket cash).
My apologies for hijacking the 004 thread!

Nice! Shame you don't have any more, I would have loved to have picked one up! I'm aiming to make some type of ODS for my next build, but working on a SSS is certainly something I would like to try in the future!mhartman wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2017 2:27 am Thank you. Re: SSS #004
Regarding the gut shot. Seems that this one does not have the cf driver tube in the poweramp section. Just a "normal" PI.
