can anybody tell me about this?

I bought this yesterday with the intent of cleaning it up and hopefully getting it to work. looks like it has old mallory caps throughout. kind of looks like an older 100 watt ods clone? just thought maybe i could get some more trained eyes on it and could then lead me to the appropriate schematic/layout.

Wow, you are looking at some cleanup work.

Looks like a HRM ODS.

Depending on your level of OCD...you are looking at some cleanup, or a full rebuild.

That looks like a 20W output transformer.

If that were mine, I'd strip it and start over. And add a bigger OT.

Maybe it was an attempt at a 4x 6V6 amp?

Possible but it looks as if only 2 power tube sockets are wired. Nonetheless i will deam it a rats nest. I really want to do a hundred watter so it looks like i will be ordering some new iron. I bought this and a traynor yrm 1 chassis just for some extra workbench fodder for my spare time

I really want to utilize every hole in the chassis for its labeled intent as well as using all preamp and ps board components that are salvagable. As well as restoring the fet circuit to the amp. So far as my eyes can see it resembles the bluesmaster circiut the closest but i have no experiece with dumbles. It also seems they utilize some intermediate fixed tone stack which i have never seen before but i think it looks like a neat feature. This appears to be missing. I have been studying the schematic and this will surely be a learning experience as i have never used fets or relays and dont quite have a firm understanding of them yet. Brace yourselves for some stupid questions

If you use Omron relays then be aware the diagram on the top is actually showing you FROM UNDERNEATH. Fooled me on my first ODS build :D

I didn't bother with the FET on any of my builds I don't like it and therefore don't use it, same with jazz/rock :D I Only wired it in on my last build because I had a Dumble chassis.

that's the only bit of advice I can give you :D I'm still asking stupid questions myself.

Funny how we have different preferences. I find the FET mandatory for a Strat. It is the Strat input. Without the FET, there is no good place to plug in. :)

The chassis looks like Brandon's and the OT like an Allen (Heyboer wound) 35 watt.

It is an HRM ODS like I wrote earlier. Not a Bluesmaster.

You will have some fun with this one.

The fixed network is cool, mr. Dumble did that too in some earlier HRM amps.
